About the Role:
As the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the maintenance team at their respective depots to ensure smooth operation and delivery of maintenance works within company guidelines. You will also be responsible for the training and development of your team of Electricians and Apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan daily activities for the team, including preparing site documentation, materials, and other job-related requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all Work Health and Safety duties and responsibilities.
- Conduct and document daily pre-start meetings with the team.
- Oversee compliance of worksite documentation and practices.
- Responsibility for the management of plant & equipment.
- Provide supervision and on-site support to the maintenance team.
- Electrical Trade Certificate or an AQF Certificate Level III – Electrician with extensive trade or industry experience in maintenance.
- Knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment, and systems.
- Supervisory skills with the ability to effectively coordinate team activities to achieve established goals.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
