- This newly created Key Account Manager (KAM) role for the Pharmacy channel is responsible for executing the sales strategy and driving sales growth and enhancing market penetration in the pharmacy sector, with a specific focus on this company’s niche products.
- The KAM will support and manage relationships with key banner groups, independent pharmacy groups, wholesalers and distributors while promoting the company product portfolio to pharmacists, related stakeholders and other healthcare professionals.
- The position will achieve agreed sales targets for the pharmacy channel with high-end quality products to ensure that overall company growth is achieved and will execute the product strategy relevant to the pharmacy channel through effective new business development and account management.
- You will develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets with range reviews for banner groups, pharmacy chains, wholesalers, and distributors and foster and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharmacy accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- You will identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and secure new business through effective sales presentations and negotiations and will achieve performance objectives in line with the business plan.
- You will maintain the CRM system with high quality notes and all call activity and analyse sales data to measure impact of sales activities and growth drivers.
- You will deliver product training and educational sessions to key pharmacy staff, ensuring that they are equipped to recommend and utilise products effectively and act as a trusted advisor for pharmacies, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues or concerns related to product availability, orders, or usage.
- Experience of 3+ years as a KAM and/or Business Development Manager in the ANZ pharmacy channel, promoting, selling and growing a product portfolio.
- Ideally you will have existing relationships with Pharmacy Banner Groups and Wholesalers with a proven track record of driving sales and building long-term customer relationships.
- You will have a passion for improving patient care through innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are key to this role.
