About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join CaFHS as a Registered Nurse, where you will be responsible for:

  • Providing nursing services within the Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS)
  • Developing from novice to proficient level of professional practice
  • Consolidating knowledge and skills through ongoing experience and learning
  • Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance capability
  • Accepting accountability for personal standards of nursing care
  • Taking responsibility for activities delegated to others

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate; or
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
