About the role
We are seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team at Sparkle by Mia Pty Ltd in South Hedland, WA. This casual role is responsible for maintaining the grounds and gardens at our commercial and residential properties, ensuring they remain well-presented and inviting for our clients and customers.
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out all general gardening duties including mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and planting
- Watering gardens and maintaining irrigation systems
- Ensuring gardens and grounds are clean, tidy and free of litter and debris
- Operating gardening equipment and tools safely and effectively
- Identifying and addressing any garden maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Liaising with the management team to discuss ongoing garden maintenance and improvement plans
What we're looking for
- At least 1 years' experience working as a professional Gardener or Grounds Maintenance Specialist
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant health, and landscape maintenance techniques
- Ability to operate a range of gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively
- An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation
- Excellent time management and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A current driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
