Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Reporting: Ensure correct and timely data entry into ERP/accounting systems. Generate monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, and manage financial data such as invoices, document uploads for reconciliation, and processing general ledger journals.
- Accounts Management: Maintain accurate accounts, manage accounts payable, and oversee fixed assets and payroll reconciliation.
- Payroll & Reconciliation: Manage payroll master data and assist with payroll-related inquiries. Handle accounts reconciliation tasks, including Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets.
- Compliance & Liaison: Work with auditors, tax advisors, and tax authorities to ensure compliance with regulations. Prepare and submit BAS and tax returns.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities and improve processes within the organization.
- Accounting Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Profile
Skills & Experience:
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in accounting, payroll, and ERP/accounting systems. Experience with audits and proficiency in technology.
- Accounting Principles: Solid working knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Teamwork & Leadership: Able to supervise and support colleagues, assistants, or trainees, as needed.
- Communication: Approachable, helpful, and polite, with the ability to follow processes, quality-check work, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
