About the role:
Schools and preschools in Mount Barker and surrounding areas are currently experiencing, and are expected to continue facing, significant enrolment pressure due to the growing demand for housing and education. To cater for this growth, a new primary and preschool is scheduled to open in Mount Barker in 2028.
The Coordinator, Enrolment, Capacity and Transition provides and coordinates responsive customer service and documentation, including records, correspondence, research, briefing services, and process and policy advice, to support the operation of sustainable enrolment management practices. This includes communicating and providing accurate and timely advice and information to parents, principals, education directors, managers and staff in order to support the successful management of complex enrolment and capacity issues and transition activities.
The role will be a key resource for site leaders and local education teams by providing support during the operational implementation of key departmental projects and strategies to support enrolment growth, such as the opening new services and the establishment and amendments of school zones and local preschool catchments.

Special conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
