About the role

Join our team and play a vital role in the success of our City! We are looking for a dedicated individual to perform repairs and maintenance on minor plant and equipment and assist in the training and development of apprentices and trainees.

If you have a passion for hands-on work and mentoring the next generation, we want to hear from you!

Role accountabilities include:

  • Coordinate and manage workshop activities as assigned.
  • Conduct risk assessments for all plant and equipment.
  • Provide support and assistance to Plant Workshop employees.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety through active participation in discussions.

About you

We are seeking a motivated individual with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Trade Certificate in Small Engines and a Current Driver's Licence.
  • Experience in light vehicle, truck, and heavy plant repairs and maintenance (both petrol and diesel engines) with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in a friendly team environment. If you have excellent attention to detail and thrive in a high-volume work setting, this could be the perfect role for you!
