About the Role:
The Manager, Critical Incident Response, will lead the department’s effective response to critical incidents and in particular, case managing those related to sexual abuse ( Managing allegations of sexual misconduct in SA education and care settings procedure ). The Manager will lead the department’s response to matter involving external agencies such as ICAC, Privacy Committee, OPI and the Ombudsman. The Manager requires a high level of effectiveness and attention to detail in critical incident response management.
Qualifications:
Desirable: An appropriate tertiary qualification.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO8 $121,107 - 125,679 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
