Description:
As a Correctional Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary healthcare and/or mental health services to individuals within the correctional facility. This role requires a compassionate and adaptable individual with strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting health assessments and developing individualised care plans.
- Providing primary healthcare services, including wound care, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions.
- Assessing and managing the mental health needs of patients.

- Full-Time Hours: Minimum of 38 hours per week.

About You:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience in primary healthcare and/or mental health nursing .
- Excellent clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
