About the Role
As an AHP2 Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral member of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Your expertise will be essential in providing clinical support and professional supervision to less experienced occupational therapists and students, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous learning and development. Additionally, you will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standard of care for all patients.
Your work will directly influence clinical outcomes for patients within key facilities such as the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (HRC), and Repat Health Precinct (RHP). You will also have the opportunity to engage with community and ambulatory services, enhancing patient care across a wide range of settings.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will have a combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

Qualifications: A degree or equivalent qualification enabling registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

Skills: Proven ability in assessment, treatment, and applying evidence-based practices in complex clinical situations.

Experience: Broad experience with at least three years of relevant clinical experience in acute hospital, rehabilitation, or ambulatory services, managing complex cases with minimal supervision.

Knowledge: Well-developed clinical knowledge, understanding of the health system, and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals.
