We are looking for a detailed oriented Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a 2-year contract.
The successful applicant is responsible for coordinating the dispatch of customer orders (bulk chemical and packed finished goods) for the Nowchem Group by ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all relevant transport documentation, correspondence and enquiries.
About The Role
- Full time (38 hrs per week Monday to Friday)
- Accurate and timely preparation of relevant transport documentation including invoices, delivery dockets and Dangerous Goods paperwork
- Arrange transport, prepare manifests and picking slips
- Ensure goods are transported in line with Dangerous Goods requirements
- Respond to customer enquiries
- Ensure delivery deadlines are met in line with customer requirements
- Communicate with various 3PL carriers on delivery requirements
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on delivery capabilities, stock requirements and transport logistics.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
- Understanding of Dangerous Goods Transport and Storage legislation
- Accuracy and Attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication
- Sense of urgency, deadline driven and good ability to multitask
