About the role

As the Functional Lead, you will oversee the functional design, development, and support of our Product & Content applications, ensuring they meet business needs and industry best practices. You will provide leadership and guidance to a team of Functional Analysts, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of Functional Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Drive functional design, development, and support for Product Management, Digital Asset Management, and Content Management systems and In Store Ticketing systems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and design functional technical solutions.
  • Ensure all functional developments are user-friendly, reusable, and performant.
  • Oversee the prioritisation and resolution of application issues.
  • Provide technical guidance, quality assurance, and problem-solving expertise.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
  • Support project delivery, ensuring adherence to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Maintain security, compliance, and disaster recovery standards.
This is a hybrid role based in our Chadstone Support Office 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).

About you

What You'll Bring
  • 15+ years of IT experience, with expertise in software development and support.
  • 5+ years of experience leading functional teams.
  • Experience as a Functional Analyst configuring MDM solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Stibo STEP products, SAP, Digital Asset Management and Content Management systems.
  • Ability to get hands on configuring solutions where required to support your team and stakeholders
  • Experience in Waterfall and Agile development environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • A passion for driving innovation and optimising IT solutions.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong background in Retail sector.
