The team
The Communications and Corporate Affairs (CCA) Group builds and leverages strategic stakeholder relationships to improve awareness and understanding of ASIC's mandate and outcomes. It manages external, digital and internal communications, and delivers ASIC's consumer education and Moneysmart.
This role sits in the Corporate Affairs team in the CCA Group, which is accountable for consumer communications, including Moneysmart, and CCA's strategy.
The role
As Social Media Adviser, you'll lead development and execution of our social media strategies and activity. You'll manage scheduling, publishing and community engagement across ASIC and Moneysmart channels, ensuring content is consistent, audience-led and aligned with our wider goals. You'll also play a key role in monitoring performance and turning analytics into actionable insights that shape future content and campaigns.
Day to day, you'll:
- Manage the rollout of social campaigns across multiple channels
- Lead community management and audience engagement, working closely with our brand and content teams
- Optimise planning and publishing workflows to keep operations running smoothly
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all content aligns with ASIC's brand and voice
- Use data to evaluate what's working and pivot as needed to improve outcomes
About you
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Have 5+ years' experience in social media strategy, operations or digital communications
- Bring hands-on experience managing brand social media accounts and communities
- Know your way around scheduling, publishing and performance tools
- Can translate data into insights and turn insights into smarter strategy
- Are organised, collaborative, and comfortable juggling delivery across multiple projects
- Understand that community management is more than just providing timely customer service
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations or similar are expected, or equivalent experience.
