Description:

The Director of Aboriginal Health and Engagement provides high-level strategic leadership to improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people across the Northern Territory. Reporting to the Executive Director, Aboriginal Health, Engagement and Workforce, this role is responsible for driving the development and implementation of culturally secure, community-led approaches across Northern Territory Health. The Director works in close partnership with Aboriginal communities, organisations, and health professionals to ensure Aboriginal knowledge, lived experience and priorities are embedded in system reform, service design, workforce development and policy-making, in alignment with key policies and strategies.
