Provide first-line technical support and manage service requests in a dynamic IT environment at Wyndham City Council.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network systems.
- Managing service requests and incidents through ticketing systems.
- Maintaining user access, system functionality, and customer satisfaction.
- Responding to incoming tickets and phone support.
- Conducting remote troubleshooting using tools like LogMeIn and SCCM Remote Assistant.
- Assisting with IT projects and creating internal documentation.
- Monitoring systems for server outages, network issues, or security alerts.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Open to recent graduates (within the last 1–2 years) with a degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Technical skills in Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, basic networking, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ITIL fundamentals.
- Professional skills in time management, documentation, and customer service.
- Effective communication, patience, empathy, and teamwork.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and task prioritization.
Compensation & Benefits
The role offers a Band 4 salary starting at $75,802 per annum plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO. The position is full-time and fixed-term until 30th May 2027, based in Werribee with potential work across multiple locations in the Wyndham Municipality.
