Do you hold a medium rigid (MR) licence or above? We offer a 4 week paid driver training program that will build on your current heavy vehicle skills and knowledge to navigate the roads as a professional Bus Driver.
About the role
We currently have multiple positions available for Casual Bus Drivers at our Grafton depot . We are looking for passionate people who enjoy driving and want to service their community, whilst delivering the best experience possible to our customers.
A little bit about our rates!
- $39.69 per hour Weekday (shift loadings – range from 15% - 100% dependant on times of operation throughout the shift)
- Up to $54.96 ( Sat) $73.29 ( Sun) $91.61 (PH) per hour
- $17.49 attendance allowance paid daily

Hours of work
Hours of work and shifts vary from depot to depot. Our casual drivers typically work a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon during the school term. In school holidays there is very limited work available.
These hours are often suited to retirees wanting to re-enter the workforce or supplement income. It is also a fantastic opportunity for people working part-time and wanting more hours.
Eligibility to apply
- A current and valid Medium Rigid or above driver’s licence
- A good driving history
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check, criminal history check and working with children check.
- Have a current NSW Driver Authority is highly desired (or be willing to obtain one)
