Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring efficient service to customers/clients by collecting full scrap metal bins, and/or delivering empty bins, in a timely fashion
- Communicating with management to identify any industry movement and activity, or any on-site concerns regarding OHS, environmental or collection issues arising
- Work in accordance with a daily plan for routine collections
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with our site safety, environmental and quality procedures
- Yard work as required
- Open manual HR license with previous experience in a similar role
- Forklift ticket
- C6 crane ticket
- Excellent customer service ethic
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
- Flexibility to respond to transport and operations
- Previous experience in a similar industry would be highly regarded
- Tickets to operate various load shifting equipment such as excavators
