Primary Health Nurse - Northern Territory - Short Term Contract

• $95.00 per hour day rate (plus penalties for overtime, weekends, on call etc).
• $1000 sign up bonus, claimed when you finish your first 4 weeks
• Start dates in April, May and June available
• Short term agency contract (minimum 1 week)
• Fully furnished accommodation included!
• Return travel provided!
• We have roles available across small remote communities within Central Australia, some are 3 hours form Alice Springs and others up to five hours driving time
• On your time off you will have the ability to visit beautiful National Parks and Gorges, getting to know the local community and exploring local Indigenous art

Key Responsibilities
Working in this Northern Territory health facility you will help meet the needs and priorities of local communities to improve health outcomes in primary health care. As part of your role you will:

• Deliver comprehensive primary health care within the organisation
• Ensure the focus of care is on the needs of Aboriginal clients within the context of their cultural identity and social circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Relevant experience in Primary Health Care
• Remote Emergency Management (REC) or equivalent certificate
• Recognised Immunisation Provider certificate, current COVID vaccination provider certificates for Pfizer and Paediatric vaccines
• Current BLS/ALS
• Must be ISTAT competent, certified and have access number or willing to obtain
• Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
