Description:
- Develop and maintain systems and procedures to ensure accurate asset recording and tracking.
- Provide timely and accurate asset reporting, including compliance with AASB standards.
- Advise on the accounting treatment of capital projects and oversee associated processes.
- Prepare depreciation budgets and monthly leased asset reports.
- Lead asset revaluations, impairment assessments, and useful life reviews.
- Oversee regular fixed asset stock takes and ensure asset register accuracy.
- Champion innovation by improving asset accounting systems and procedures.
- Provide authoritative guidance on accounting standard changes.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
Requirements:
- Experience providing expert advice to senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience handling complex and sensitive financial information.
- CPA/CA qualified
- Immediately available
- Familiarity with Technology One (Finance One) accounting software (or desire to learn)
Conditions:
- $140,000 + Super
