Description:
As Director, you will have a leadership role in working collaboratively with agencies across government and within the department, to achieve the department’s portfolio priorities. You will have strong professional networks, excellent communication and negotiation skills and the leadership to get things done.You will represent the department in sensitive discussions and negotiations, maintaining a clear focus on achieving results and communicating with influence to ensure delivery agencies commit to achieving clear goals.

The Reform Implementation Office will apply expert input into delivery planning using modern and well evidenced methods and will focus on enterprise-wide systems reform.
The Director's Key Responsibilities Include
- Lead a dedicated team to identify and act upon opportunities to improve the speed and effectiveness of the implementation of high priority projects and programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with other divisions within the department, partner government agencies and other delivery partners to ensure alignment of priorities and implementation activities, to clarify responsibility for actions and accountability for outcomes.
- Engage collaboratively with and support stakeholders to cut through roadblocks, break down siloes and consider system-wide interdependencies
- Provide well informed and insightful strategic advice to senior executives on delivery challenges and opportunities.
- Coordinate the consistent utilisation of delivery methodologies which improve the pace and reliability of implementation on targeted initiatives.
- Negotiate with government stakeholders to challenge existing perspectives and drive new approaches to addressing delivery challenges.
