About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Org Design & Change Specialist to join our client’s team based in Sydney. In this temporary full-time position, you will play a crucial role in leading the review and design of operating models, ensuring that the proposed structures and roles align with organizational design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of functional accountabilities for divisions and branches, mapping current and future state accountabilities for a seamless transition.
- Design organisational structures and options according to established design principles, ensuring they meet the operational needs of the organization.
- Create and oversee the development of detailed organisational structure charts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with workforce data.
- Foster strong relationships with business leaders and enabling functions to produce fit-for-purpose materials that drive organisational efficiency.
- Provide oversight and quality assurance for role descriptions and the job evaluation process, maintaining compliance and consistency across the organisation.
- Ensure governance and alignment of organisational design initiatives, mapping roles to job families and establishing capabilities in role descriptions.

Key criteria:
- Proven, recent Organisational design experience.
- Notable capability as Change Management professional
- but organisational design experience is the priority
- Relevant tertiary-level qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- NSW Government or Transport experience highly beneficial, but not essential
