About The Role
Reporting to the Office Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining inventory at a level to adequately satisfy customer demand.
Duties
- Generate and analyse stock inventory and re-order reports
- Create and process purchase orders, inter-company transfer orders and non-inventory orders
- Review and apply promotional deals and special pricing deals when purchasing
- Follow up outstanding / overdue orders
- Source alternate items to replace products that have been listed as long term unavailable by suppliers
- Generate “Out of Stock” reports
- Create new and maintain existing supplier, product and pricing databases
- Liaise with other departments
- Undertake other administrative duties as required
- Represent & promote Bidfood at all times
- Well organised
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to work methodically, accurately and neatly
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
