Role Description/Criteria
We seek a passionate, collaborative, inspiring and innovative STEM teacher with a strong work ethic to join our team at Holy Rosary School. We have a 0.2 contract position for work on Thursdays commencing in Term 3, or earlier, if the applicant is available.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the Selection Criteria, include a resume and name three referees, including your current and previous principal.
The successful applicant should have the knowledge and skills to:
- create engaging, challenging and innovative learning in STEM in ways that support diverse needs and improve student learning outcomes.
- support and implement the practices of PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning)
- work collaboratively with the partner STEM teacher who works on Wednesdays
- participate and initiate ways to extend and celebrate student learning in STEM
- develop and maintain positive workplace relationships
- reflect on personal practice, and contribute to the professional growth of self and others.
Special Requirements
The successful applicant will:
- have an understanding of the ethos and traditions of the Catholic church
- have VIT registration
- be accredited to teach in a Catholic school or committed to achieving this accreditation
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Commit to Holy Rosary School's Child Safe policies and the Code of Conduct.
