Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and a member of the senior executive group the Vice-President (Corporate Services) is responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the University’s key operational areas and enterprise-wide resource strategies. The role leads a large portfolio which encompasses Finance, People and Culture, Property, Facilities and Development, Information and Digital Services, University Library, Student Accommodation and Operations in each of the 6 Colleges. Service excellence and sustainability are key drivers in the portfolio to ensure that the University is well placed to deliver on its Strategic Plan.
The University is seeking a high quality leader, capable of identifying commercial and capital opportunities and driving a strategic agenda in a growing environment. Extensive business experience in a senior management position, working across organisational boundaries to effect business improvement and strategic change, should be supported by relevant tertiary qualifications such as business, commerce or accounting. Experience in the sector and an understanding of the university environment is important, and should be underpinned by a collegial and collaborative style. Exposure to a digitally enabled, matrix environment would be beneficial. An attractive, market-based remuneration package is available.
