About the role

As a member of the Harvey Norman Integrated Planning Team based onsite at our Homebush-West franchisor office, you will manage stock allocations and replenishments to franchise stores while supporting the planning function. Collaborating closely with the Merchandise Planner, you will analyse sales trends, monitor deliveries, and maintain optimal stock levels.

Responsibilities include;

  • Providing comprehensive reports and insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Following up on aged orders with suppliers and process purchase order cancellations.
  • Documenting and acknowledging enquiries, maintaining necessary registers and records.
  • Fostering strong relationships and effective communication with business stakeholders and team members.
  • Executing administrative tasks required to support the function and the team.

About you

You will possess a keen eye for detail and exceptional analytical skills, driven by passion for building a career in Merchandise Planning. Additionally, you will be an excellent communicator, capable of fostering strong stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organisation.

You will also have;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel with a high confidence in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Skilled in teamwork with a strong emphasis on building rapport.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Strong ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, allowing you to meet tight deadlines effectively.
