As Workforce Analytics and Planning Lead you will be responsible for managing workforce reporting and analytics – both internal and external, delivering data-driven insights and strategic workforce planning to support Telix business goals. This role will combine your People & Culture knowledge with data analytics to identify workforce trends, forecast talent needs, optimize headcount, and support decision-making across P&C and business functions.
Key Accountabilities
- Workforce Analytics and Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards to track key People metrics (e.g., talent acquisition, headcount, learning, turnover, leave utilization, diversity, productivity).
- Contribute to the design of data capturing tools and processes such as workflows and surveys.
- Conduct analysis to identify workforce trends, risks, and opportunities related to hiring, retention, engagement, and organizational structure.
- Provide insights and recommendations to P&C leadership and business units on talent supply, demand, and gaps.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through storytelling, visualization, and presentations.
- Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices in workforce analytics and strategic planning.
- Workforce and Resource Planning
- Work closely with the Project Management Office and Global Development Leads to assess and report on cross functional resourcing opportunities and needs of product matrix teams.
- Collaborate with People & Culture partners, Finance, and business unit leaders, including the Talent Acquisition team, to support workforce planning, modeling, and forecasting.
- Design and drive workforce planning cycles, including headcount budgeting and organizational planning.
- Contribute to the evolution of workforce planning processes, tools, and methodologies by identifying automation opportunities and adopting best practices.
- External Reporting and Audit
- Lead the contribution of workforce data to company documents such as the Annual Report and Corporate Governance Statement
- Lead P&C activities in external reporting – including providing workforce data to auditors and external agencies
- Data Governance and Integrity
- Support the Manager, Global P&C Operations and other P&C team members with system administration, testing, and building as required (HRIS, ATS, LMS), including acting as back up to cover leave periods
- In collaboration with the Assistant General Counsel (privacy) review and establish people data governance principles, including ensuring GDPR compliance in the handling of people data
- Ensure data integrity across P&C systems and collaborate with HRIS teams to improve data governance and reporting processes
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in, Business, Statistics, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field; master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in workforce analytics, people analytics or workforce planning.
- Strong proficiency in data tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in organizational design or workforce modeling.
- Understanding of business and P&C strategy.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
