About the Opportunity
We're on the lookout for a Trainer with Lived Experience and Recovery journey to deliver impactful training programs shaped by real-life experience. You’ll work closely with our Training and Development Manager and other subject matter experts to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences to Wellways staff and our integrated care partners. Sharing your personal lived experience and recovery story—where appropriate—will be a key part of enriching our training content and helping others on their journey
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate lived experience-based training sessions across the organisation
- Complete post-training admin using our Learning Management System (Workday)
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in lived experience, working with Learning Designers to refine and improve our training content

You will also need:
- Qualifications in vocational education, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong understanding of Recovery-Oriented and Trauma-Informed Practices
- A current, valid Driver’s Licence and ability to travel as needed
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Right to Work within Australia
- National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
