You'll be the strategic force driving security policy and intelligence forward. As part of the Protective Security team , you’ll spot threats before they happen , shape industry-leading security policies , and ensure our frameworks meet the highest standards. You’ll work with data, intelligence platforms, and stakeholders across all levels to identify risks, drive improvements, and implement smart security solutions . This full-time Sydney-based role puts you in the heart of security decision-making , ensuring Westpac stays ahead of emerging threats.
What do I need?
- Demonstrated expertise in security and threat intelligence, spanning private sector intelligence, protective intelligence, geopolitical risk analysis, or government/law enforcement.
- Deep knowledge of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework
- Strong visual analysis skills and a talent for clear, concise writing
- The ability to translate security intelligence into actionable policies
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement
