This role does not have a permanent home base as you will travel between remote communities to provide relief support to our Supermarket stores when required.

What You Will Be Doing...
- Manage the successful operation of a supermarket in a remote Indigenous community
- Train and mentor local team members
- Deliver on ALPA's nutrition policy
- Replenish and monitor stock levels, forecasting demand and ordering additional products or goods to maintain an optimal inventory level
- Work with merchandising, nutrition and local stakeholders to meet community needs
- Experience using electronic retail systems for stock control, point of sale and staff management
- Strong interpersonal skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities and cultures
- Ability to manage the unique challenges of remote communities including limited resources, unpredictable supply chains and cultural considerations/sensitivities
