Key Responsibilities
· As Manager of the premise to oversee the quality and presentation of accommodation and rooms to guests.
· Provide professional hotel reception services, maintain bookings and oversee housekeeping and room presentation to ensure positive guests experiences
· Oversee and execute all aspects of staff recruitment, training, mentoring and performance management for hotel staff.
· Implement and oversee processes to ensure the venue is maintained and kept clean and presentable to our Company standard at all time
- Drive continuous improvements that support profit and reputation growth
- Managing costs and budget for Hotel to ensure its financial performance meets expectations
- Overseeing all department’s and having a smooth running operation
- Motivating and developing staff
- Managing all complaints and complex issues ensuring guests have a pleasant living experience
- Monitor and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Maintaining relationships with supplies and vendors to ensure premise is adequately stocked
· Ensuring the presentation the bottle shop meets brand compliance and promotes sales. Assist with stock management.
· Ensure Liquor Licensing requirements and the Responsible Service of Alcohol are maintained at all times.
· Ensure operations are compliance with Food Safety, Fire protection and training, Health and Safety and other laws and regulations all times
Skills and Qualifications
· Relevant Degree or Advanced Diploma/Diploma and 2 years Relevant post graduate experience
· Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue and Approved Manager License (or obtained in first 3 months)
- Reliable, punctual and level headed under pressure
- Ability to communicate and collaborate within a team environment of kitchen, housekeeping and front of house staff
- Food Safety Certificate
- Vaid manual drivers license
This position is offered by Dawson Hospitality Group Pty Ltd on full time basis and is located in Theodore, Central Queensland 4719. The renumeration for the position is $75,000 - $80,000 per year
