Description:
The Executive Director, South East Queensland Operations, QBuild provides high level leadership and specialist advice to support the delivery of building, maintenance and construction procurement and contract management services to ensure quality and value for money focused outcomes across the South East Queensland region.
This position requires exemplary professional leadership and management capabilities. The primary purpose of this position is to develop and implement a business framework and strategy that successfully allows for cohesive, integrated operational service delivery and efficient and value adding client services with a dedicated focus on developing and growing trust-based relationship with customers.
This will include partnering with Industry to develop and implement innovate solutions to communities building, construction and maintenance needs and working closely with communities to grow capacity and capability to empower selfsustainment and growth.
This role will also focus on people management and business improvement initiatives, ensuring ongoing development of partnering relationships with Government clients and the implementation of effective resource management strategies to achieve Government, Departmental and Business Unit objectives. It also provides strategic leadership and management of all regional services to ensure all resources are optimally deployed and utilised in meeting QBuild's core business deliverables.
