You’ll work closely with factory management to execute production schedules, minimize downtime, and foster a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities

Operational Efficiency & KPIs – Monitor and improve production KPIs, minimizing downtime by ensuring smooth transitions between runs. Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to boost overall efficiency.

Production Planning & Execution – Stay ahead of production schedules, ensuring all materials and resources are prepped for upcoming runs. Work closely with warehouse and inventory teams to avoid delays and proactively resolve shortages.

Team Leadership & Development – Support management in ensuring clear communication and structured workflows. Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to improve skills and drive a culture of accountability.

Production Room Control & Communication – Maintain a structured chain of command, ensuring all production-related communication flows efficiently through Team Leaders. Provide necessary documentation and problem-solve challenges to keep production on track.
About You

Experience in a supervisor/leadership or backup role within a production/packaging/food/ manufacturing environment;

Experience within fast paced automated manufacturing environment, with the ability to operate machinery and troubleshoot;

Willingness to 'lead from the front', using a hands-on approach;

Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in high pressure situations;

Highly developed problem solving skills;

A genuine desire to produce high quality results;

Working knowledge of HACCP and WHS systems;

Drive to get the best out of yourself and others;

Frontline management/leadership training would an advantage.
