About the role:
- Fulfill duties in line with Queensland Health, Department of Education guidelines, and organizational goals (Nurse Grade 6.1 and CQHHS commitments).
- Participate in the Performance Appraisal and Development (PAD) process and pursue continuous learning and workplace improvements.
- Actively engage in safety and quality improvement activities and notify relevant officers of any safety concerns.
- Uphold health service safety management principles and actively promote health and safety practices among staff.
- Provide advanced nursing care, including complex patient needs, ensuring compliance with NMBA standards and ethical practices.
- Offer clinical leadership and education to support the development of a skilled nursing workforce, and participate in policy reviews and research initiatives to enhance healthcare services.
About you:
- Registered Nurse Qualification
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A relevant postgraduate certificate or post graduate diploma is an expectation of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development plan.
- Registration as a Midwife would be highly desirable.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $105,519 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
