Description:
Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologists for permanent roles in Mitcham, Melbourne.
In this role, you'll deliver client-centred, evidence-based therapy services to children and young people with disabilities, helping them improve communication, mealtime safety, and overall health and well-being to achieve their goals and actively participate in their communities.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Delivering therapy at home, schools, clinics, and via Telehealth.
- Providing family coordination and indirect client services.
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to achieve client goals.
About You:
You're an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with:
- A tertiary qualification and current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) registration.
- Experience of at least 2 years in a multidisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to professional growth and clinical excellence.
- Competence with client management systems.
- A valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel across Melbourne's regions.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- SPA membership.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Reference checks.
