You will be required to maintain a high standard butchery and delicatessen services including but not limited to stock control, ordering, product display, and relationships with commercial stakeholders.

KEY Duties and Responsibilities
- Stock Control

- Ensure stock levels and quality meet the demands of the supermarket.
- Work with the Management Team to ensure a range of quality fresh product that reflects the needs of the Norseman customer base. In conjunction with the IGA Supervisor order required meat stock.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Ensure staff report all damaged and out of date stock through the appropriate procedure.
- Address reported risks and hazards with senior staff members.

- Butcher
- Ensure all butchering areas and operations are compliant with relevant Food Safety standards and codes.
- Manage delicatessen and fresh meat stock supply.
- Ensure safe and responsible handling of meat products.
- Conduct daily plant review of butcher’s areas. Maintain equipment and tools, report faults.
- Perform hot chicken and roast cooks as requested. Ensure all foods baked/cooked onsite for sale to the public are monitored to ensure food safety and quality.
- Stakeholders and Customer Relationships
- Help build a professional and friendly customer service culture with all staff.
- Adhere to the Shire's employee code of conduct
