Senior Psychologist

Frontline Health Brisbane
Cairns Full-day Full-time

Description:

Lead and shape psychology services in a supportive, multidisciplinary clinic with flexibility, professional autonomy, and genuine work-life balance.

Are you a Psychologist looking to build something meaningful from the ground up, within a supportive, well-established team that trusts your clinical judgement and values your wellbeing?
This is a rare opportunity to create and lead psychology services within a successful, family-run allied health clinic that's been supporting the Cairns community for over a decade. With a recent move into a brand-new, purpose-built clinic, the team is now ready to welcome a passionate and experienced Psychologist to complete their multidisciplinary offering.

You'll work alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and Physiotherapists in a collaborative environment that prioritises genuine client outcomes, team culture, and professional growth.

Whether you're local or looking for a fresh start in sunny Cairns, this is your chance to step into a fulfilling role where you design the service, and they'll support your vision.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Relocation bonus and support!
  • Work/life balance built-in - flexible hours, realistic billable targets, and a sustainable pace
  • Brand-new clinic space, complete with a dedicated psychology room
  • In-house PD and external PD budget for ongoing learning
  • Strong support network: admin, leadership, and team-based collaboration
  • Proven success in launching new service streams-you won't be starting from scratch alone
  • Values-driven, community-focused workplace with a hands-on leadership team

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and delivery of psychology services
  • Work closely with other Allied Health professionals to deliver holistic care
  • See a diverse caseload with opportunities for both individual therapy and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Contribute to shaping clinical processes and best practices
  • Access modern resources and tools in a fully equipped clinic environment

Ideal Candidate:

  • Registered Psychologist (AHPRA)
  • Willing to work in private practice or community settings
  • Confident and capable of establishing a new service area with support
  • Passionate about holistic, outcomes-focused care
  • Strong communicator who enjoys collaboration
  • Based in Cairns or open to relocating (They'll support you!)
