We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dairy/Freezer Team Member to join our team. Job responsibilities:
- Stock and organize dairy and frozen products to ensure the highest level of product availability and freshness.
- Maintain proper rotation of products, ensuring older stock is used first (FIFO).
- Ensure all dairy and frozen items are properly labelled and stored at the correct temperatures to meet food safety standards.
- Assist customers in finding products and answer any questions related to dairy and frozen items.
- Monitor freezer and refrigeration units, ensuring they are functioning properly and temperatures are maintained.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including regular cleaning of freezer and dairy sections.
- Work with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely product restocking.
- Assist in inventory management and assist with ordering dairy and frozen products as needed.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and minimize waste.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, grocery, or food service is preferred, especially in dairy or freezer departments.
- Ability to work efficiently in cold environments, including freezers and cool rooms.
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
