About the role

Legal Aid Queensland (LAQ) offers a pivotal opportunity for skilled administrators to contribute to a vital part of our state's justice system. Come and make a difference by helping Queenslanders resolve family law issues in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen matters for family dispute resolution according to commonwealth guidelines.
  • Manage the logistics of a lawyer-assisted family dispute resolution conferencing file load.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and provide general information regarding the dispute resolution process.
  • Conduct efficient administrative operations including data entry and reporting.

About You:

  • Proven administrative experience with the ability to work independently.
  • Skilled in information technology systems and quick to learn organisation-specific programs.
  • Familiar with organisational policies and guidelines with capability to clearly explain decisions.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
