Description:

The Commission is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive operational excellence and organisational effectiveness. As the most senior public servant in the Commission, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective governance, integrity, and performance of the Commission. The successful candidate will foster a strong organisational culture and embed business strategies that enhance service delivery and governance. This role is suited to an experienced executive with a deep understanding of the public sector, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a commitment to advancing the safety and wellbeing of children and families.

The COO will shape and oversee the Commission's regulatory and oversight operations, corporate services, and strategy and impact functions to enable efficient, consistent and scalable core operations.
