THE ROLEThe Manager, Coordination & Planning, Housing Development Branch is responsible for ensuring effective coordination of unit corporate accountabilities, planning, and staff engagement. You will lead a small team and operate in a complex and dynamic environment, requiring capacity to exercise sound judgement, liaise effectively with senior executives and build relationships with key people across the department and relevant stakeholders for Homes Victoria. The position plays a key leadership role and supports the delivery of outputs for Director, Operations, and the Housing Development Branch and will operate with a high-level of professionalism, autonomy, initiative and collaboration.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Provide strategic advisory and executive support to the Director, Operations on corporate responsibilities and operational issues including briefing and correspondence.
* Coordinate and manage delivery of branch submissions, briefings and responses to corporate and government requirements, including business planning, performance monitoring and reporting in line with departmental and divisional priorities.
* Identify and actively manage emerging issues and areas of risk and support the Director, Operations to prioritise and progress urgent matters.
