Role Overview
Aquatic Program Officers (APOs) are crucial to the smooth and successful operation of the Learn to Swim program at the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre (BALC). They have a commitment to customer service, safety and the pursuit of excellence in the delivery of programs.
The Duties And Skills Of An APO Include
Overseeing lessons to ensure they are conducted to a high standard.A point of contact for parents, children and schools.Ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed.High level of customer service to patrons, students and fellow staff. Maintaining a strong team culture.Be able to step in and teach in the pool as required either due to staff absence or to assist a teacher. Be experienced and knowledgeable in the area of Learn to Swim and/or Swim School programming.
We are currently recruiting for new part time APO who are available to work Saturday mornings 7:30am till 1:30pm. Other weekday shifts may be available.
