The University of Lethbridge’s Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan (https://www.ulethbridge.ca/planning-and-reporting/sustainability-plan) outlines the necessity for high quality data and baseline conditions to be catalogued using standard protocols and comparative methods, such as the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS) program.
We Are Seeking To Recruit a Graduate Student Researcher
Who is familiar with the Lethbridge Campus of the UofL.To create our institutional profile.Motivate interest in and submissions to the online tracking system.Build relationships with both academic and administrative teams who are contributing to sustainability actions in their everyday work, whether teaching, research, or operations.The GA will be responsible for starting our STARS experience and building the foundation for us to assess and monitor activity, achievements, and advancement in our sustainability leadership.Applicants from any discipline are welcome.
Only registered University of Lethbridge graduate students or current University of Lethbridge Postdoctoral Fellows are eligible to apply for this posting.
The Graduate Student Or Post-doc Must Be Able To
Organize their time.Build constructive relationships.Manage data collection from discussions with administrative staff, academic staff, students, and community members.Be able to keep organized the multitude of information and data collected in various forms and formats for inclusion in the STARS® platform.

Graduate Assistant wages will be paid according to Schedule A of the ULGSA Collective Agreement.
