Primary Objective

ACLE is a turnkey solution provider for the deployment of utility scale solar and battery storage in Australia. ACLE has extensive expertise in engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of large-scale projects. The role will be required to support the delivery of projects through quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement. This is a hands-on role which requires the incumbent to be a clear and concise communicator who is able to build mutually respected relationships both internally and externally with our clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors etc.

We have multiple opportunities for Quality Managers in multiple locations, including Mornington and Shepparton

Casual role with potential to acquire permanent role in the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage and maintain QA policies and procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the project.

· Establish Supplier/Subcontractor quality requirements and include them in subcontract documents.

· Promote quality awareness with project personnel to successfully achieve the quality objectives of the project.

· Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality assurance processes and best practices.

· Manage a small team of Quality Assurance Officers and Assistants.

· Establish and plan the controls for inspection and testing of construction works, materials, and equipment onsite and offsite.

· Carry out and report audits in accordance with the Quality Management Plan and the Project Audit Schedule.

· Identify non-compliances and instigate corrective actions as required.

· Ensure that all quality-related documentation is properly maintained and accessible, including quality plans, reports, and certificates.

· Ensure that redline mark-ups are progressively compiled during the construction phase of the works.

· Ensure all inspection and test reports are submitted to the Project Manager for review.

· Maintain the project non-conformance system and maintain adequate response and resolution timelines.

· Communicate quality issues and updates to stakeholders and clients to ensure improvement, transparency, and collaboration.

· Any other duties as may be required by the Company.

Qualifications & Experience

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role.

· Qualifications relevant to the role.

· Extensive knowledge of quality control systems, policies, and procedures.

· Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and other relevant regulations.

· Experience working on and around complex construction projects in Australia.

· Proven ability to problem-solve when required.

· Familiarity with construction industry quality standards and processes.

· Broad experience in M&E and civil construction.

· Valid construction white card.

· Valid driver's license

· Must be willing to travel and work across several ongoing projects

Desirable

· Solar Farm and BESS experience an advantage but not essential

· Ability to be based at project sites
