The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Room & Public Area Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis offering 30–35 hours per week. Shifts range between 6:00am starts to 10:30pm finishes across weekdays and weekends.
Reporting to the Clubhouse Operations Manager you will ensure all public areas and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring a seamless and welcoming environment for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public areas (lobby, lifts, stairs, toilets, gym facilities).
- Keep equipment clean and stored properly at all times.
- Support linen and towel delivery, and other room setup needs as requested.
- Assist with event setups and manual handling tasks.
- Assist with store duties including handling deliveries, manage stock, and keep storerooms clean.
- Work across departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to member and guest requests.
- Maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene in all guest rooms, member locker rooms.
Essential Requirements
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning, ideally within a premium hotel.
- Team player with strong initiative and attention to detail.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and great with time management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience using chemicals and commercial cleaning equipment.
- Valid Australian working rights.
