We’re on the lookout for a fully qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our dedicated team and help us continue our tradition of outstanding service and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnose and tackle a wide range of issues with light vehicles.
- Perform essential maintenance tasks, from oil changes to tire rotations and brake repairs.
- Use cutting-edge diagnostic tools to identify mechanical problems quickly and accurately.
- Complete detailed repair orders and keep meticulous records of all work performed.
- Uphold safety standards and regulations in everything you do.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with our customers about their vehicles’ needs.
- Work collaboratively with our talented team to meet ambitious service goals and maintain our high-quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, including your apprenticeship.
- A relevant trade qualification such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
- A solid understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A team player who can also work independently when needed.
- A valid driver’s license, with the capability to drive manual vehicles.
- While not essential, an air-conditioning handling license and roadworthy certification would be a bonus!
