About the Role:

As an experienced Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing sales by cultivating client relationships and exceeding targets in the construction materials industry.

Competitive salary with benefits. This role is Monday to Friday with flexible hours.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive sales by being out on the road and actively marketing products, solutions and services to customers.
  • External business development – build solid relationships and establish ongoing rapport with new and existing clients. This includes cold calling and visiting job sites/workshops.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and drive consistent revenue growth.
  • The provision of sales and customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and enquiries face-to-face, over the phone and via email and managing a customer account base.
  • Liaise at all levels of our business, across the entire internal team, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and competitors and identifying prospect business development.

About you

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • An engaging, energetic, and proactive demeanour, coupled with a genuine passion for sales, and exceptional customer service.
  • A client-centric and results-oriented approach, characterised by confidence in interacting with customers and team members from varying demographics, as a field-based professional.
  • Local and relevant knowledge of the construction industry and ideally a potential customer base.
  • A proven track record in a similar Sales Representative role of meeting monthly and yearly sales targets.
  • Ideally you have worked in the commercial construction supplies industry, or in the construction industry. Commercial, domestic and/or civil.
  • Exceptional time management skills and a self-driven nature, thriving in a semi-autonomous role without constant managerial oversight.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights as sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)

Desirable

  • Experience in the Construction Industry – Jobsite Confidence.
  • White Card
