Position: Club Manager (Fixed-Term, Full-Time)
Location: Urth Fitness, Belmont, Newcastle
Contract: 12-Month Temporary

We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Club Manager to lead our Belmont location, covering a 12-month temporary contract period. As the Club Manager , you will be responsible for creating an exceptional member experience while ensuring the commercial success of the club. You will lead and coach a dynamic team, motivate staff, and champion our club's core values of integrity, service, and energy.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Staff Management

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team including Supervisors, Membership Consultants, and Trainers.

Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests, ensuring staff deliver outstanding customer service.

Lead by example, holding staff accountable while promoting Urth's values and culture.

Manage staff schedules, resolve employee concerns, and oversee disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.

Operational Excellence

Oversee daily operations, ensuring everything from front desk activities to gym cleanliness and equipment maintenance meets our high standards.

Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, membership sales, and cleanliness, contributing to monthly bonus schemes.

Manage high-level membership tasks.

Marketing & Sales
-
Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote new memberships and marketing initiatives.

Train team members to provide tours to prospective members and ensure excellent communication around promotions.

Facility Maintenance & Safety
-
Ensure the gym is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

Oversee stock take and timely ordering of products for the gym.

Reporting & Administration
-
Complete reports on club performance.

Ensure timely completion of monthly budget reports and financial processes as required.

Skills Required:

Ability to lead teams with vision and purpose as the guiding principle.

Willingness to learn management of operational budgets.

Confident in MS word, excel and PowerPoint.

Has proven problem-solving skills.

Has solid communications and organisation skills.

Communicated effectively in verbal and written word.
