Due to an increase growth in our business, we are seeking a concrete batcher to join our team. Our locations for this position range within the Hunter Region; between Braxton, Dungog, and Tomago.
Overall Responsibilities
- Accurate batching and dispatching of concrete across all Redicrete sites
- Management of concrete plant including ensuring safety procedures are in place and followed
- General yard, plant housekeeping and maintenance
- Front end loader operations
- Accurate batching of orders to specific mix designs
- Raw materials receipting and recording
- Tracking, scheduling and allocation of trucks
- Safely operate front end loader or AGI, as required
- Ensure all legislative requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements including prestart checks and maintenance on front end loader
Selection Criteria
- Have previous experience as a concrete batcher
- Have solid previous experience as a front-end loader operator and or AGI driver
- Hold suitable industry knowledge and experience
- Have a HR or HC heavy vehicle licence
- Have a FEL competency or ticket
- Proven track record of providing a high level of customer service
- Have a WHS construction induction and demonstrate a full understanding of workplace health & safety requirements
- The ability to multitask, problem solve and organise, plan and schedule activities with good time management
- Be highly motivated with a strong attention to detail and the flexibility to take on tasks necessary to achieve a desired result
- Be a team player with the ability to influence in a positive manner
- Be computer literate with strong administration skills, demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
