About the role
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Mid North Coast Oral Surgery in Coffs Harbour, NSW. As the first point of contact for our patients, this full-time role is integral to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our busy practice.
What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and professional manner

Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and enquiries efficiently

Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including liaising with clinical staff

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical histories

Assisting with financial transactions, including processing payments and issuing invoices

Ensuring the reception area and waiting room are well-presented and organised

Providing general administrative support to the team as required

Assisting with instrument re processing and coordination of instruments between facilities will also be necessary.
What we're looking for

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably within a dental or healthcare setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner

Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and standard office software applications

A passion for providing outstanding customer service and contributing to a positive patient experience

A warm, empathetic, and approachable personality that aligns with the practice's values

Able to work until 6pm when required
