Responsible for leading and mentoring a team of technicians and apprenticesEnsure your team achieves its KPI’s to deliver resultsLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth process from beginning to endEnsure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, and Complete required documentationBeing a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time, with minor repairs
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic (Cert III) is preferredExperience as a qualified technician, working with engine productsExperience in a management is preferred but not essentialStrong communication and organisation skills in a high-pressure environment
Education, Licenses, Certifications
Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy diesel mechanic or automotive Mechanic (light / heavy / engine recon)Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy or light diesel products. Cummins engines is highly preferred.Engine rebuild and reconditioning experience is highly desirableSolid diagnostic and IT capabilitiesAutomotive industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
